Past Conferences
IASTAM organises conferences in order to draw together practitioners and scholars from around the world. The conferences act as a focus for a wide variety of disciplines, and provide an opportunity to meet others in the field.

Programme
This conference was held to celebrate the new journal of the society of IASTAM (The International Association for the Study of Asian Medicine).
It also coincided with the exhibition Asia: Body Mind Spirit Presented by the Wellcome Trust Libraries 13 October - 12 December 2004 at the SOAS Brunei Gallery.
Members of the IASTAM board and other scholars from a range of different backgrounds gave lectures on historical, anthropological, sociological and iconographic dimensions of Asian medicine as well as practice reports from practitioners working in the field.
